Just read cDc #351: The Tao of Windows Buffer Overflow, a nice tutorial about writing a buffer overflow exploit in Win95. Old news I spose, but still a great insight into the hard work and cunning it takes.
bargains
tesco are selling the Monty Python movies box set for £13.99, it must be a typo or something because it's supposed to be 40 quid. As you can expect everyone is happily abusing it, some bastard is even selling links to it on ebay.
oh and the sun are giving out dvds each day this week, head on over to play.com, today's password is SUNMONA.
Jesus' General: "The truth about evolution"
this almost made me cry when I first read it last year, so I've bookmarked it so I can point people at it without having to google "baboon's ass" each time

proud to be pirate
Before you speak of information pirates...: "(Pirates) ...were more than just thieves. They created an alternative way to regard work, society, and life's pleasures in an economically and religiously repressive age"
sound familiar?
Friday links
It's another Friday afternoon in the office and browsers are in overdrive, proxies are overheating and the network has slowed to a crawl.
We've been helping Christopher Reeve get some stem cells, and applying for as many FREE O2 SIMM CARDS as possible (worth at least a fiver each at your local car boot sale)

The Japs 'knows it' when it comes to robotics, and to prove it they've been showing off at Robot One - a fighting contest between mini humanoid robots, including a "rumble" involving 8 battlebots fighting in various styles.
The beginning of the end is here!

rant{
"Another tub of Haagen Das, dear?"
I've got nothing against stout, fat, and even obese people, but when a 480 lb woman died after 6 years sat on her couch I've got to agree, something needs to be done. Her skin became part of the seat Henry the 8th's vest style, so she couldn't have got up to eat or go to the toilet in years.
Maybe it was a medical condition, or maybe she was just a lazy fat bitch who couldn't be arsed getting up, but I suspect her bloke was a "feeder"- a particularly filthy sort of pervert who feeds "nice little porkers" up until they become totally immobile and completely dependent. If that's the case he should be tried for murder, lock the sick fucker up and throw away the key.

The blogosphere got a new addition today, as yosser's comments and thoughts opened for some France beating, Jew burning, Islam exterminating nazi-esque rant.
Given one wish, he'd "build a wall round france, then fill it with water", so you can guarantee it'll be a fair and interesting read.
You give em hell Yosser ;-)
Oh, and I bet there's competitions too...

If I donated my body to medical science I wouldn't expect to have it
spread all over Blackpool's winter gardens for "educational" purposes. The perverts in this town have gone too far, I'm writing to my MP, we've gotta put a stop to this...
But all that aside, I might pop down there for a quick wank later on.
Buildings without ramp access beware: the new series of dr who will be sporting darleks with legs. And who knows, maybe they've also been working on their aim
